Bloom it up!

When we asked our daughter what she wanted for her birthday, she always answered, “a beautiful room”! I saw the Roomblush watercolour collection and I immediately fell in love with the lovely colours and prints.

We told our daughter that she could choose her three favourites from the collection. In the end, she chose Bloom Bluegreen. And I was really happy with her choice. When the rolls arrived, we started repainting her walls. We had a custom paint colour made that also features in the wallpaper. So now her room has one accent wall in this colour and all the other walls have been painted plain white.

The wallpapering itself went really smoothly. Each roll consists of four numbered strips. You certainly don’t need to be a professional wallpaperer to apply it. Hubby and I finished the job in a couple of hours.

Our daughter chose the rest of the accessories for her room herself and also got a double bed. I’m sure she’s very happy with her new ‘big girl’ room. And I love it too. So, mission accomplished.
