Margaritha set to work on transforming her son Jack’s bedroom using our Jungle wallpaper. You can read all about her stunning makeover below.
After restyling George and James' bedroom, it was now Jack's turn. Jack is currently sleeping in George and James’ former bedroom. He got new wallpaper, a new bed and some new accessories. I’m delighted with how it’s turned out and so is Jack. The only thing he still wants, is a selection of plants (yes, really!). So, that’s next on my to-do list!
We ordered the house bed from Petite Amelie, which is the same as the ones we got for George and James. It’s a junior bed that measures 80 × 160 and is suitable for children up to 10 years of age. I use single bed linen and simply tuck any excess material under the mattress! The beds come in a natural varnish and feature a slatted base under the mattress.
Jack loved helping to assemble his bed and it was ready in next to no time!
Petite Amélie has a concept store in Bussum where you can view the house bed prior to purchase. You can also explore several fully-furnished children's bedrooms, which are crammed with fun accessories for inspiration. The staff are happy to provide more information about their products and gladly assist with styling.
Jungle
We chose the Jungle wallpaper from Roomblush’s new collection, which can be purchased here.
Itching for change
I was absolutely thrilled with Jack’s new-look bedroom, yet was still itching for change [will that feeling ever dissipate?]. Those animal heads now look great against the jungle wallpaper ... and that warm, natural-looking rug is the perfect finishing touch. Next on my list? The kitchen. As you can see, I simply cannot sit still ;-). I promise to keep you updated on my progress!
