This summer, we moved into our new home. The only room that really needed to be finished was the one for our daughter Leah. I had already come across the super cute Roomblush wallpaper on Pinterest several times and one day I found the perfect match! Now that our daughter is 1.5 years old, she is of course starting to experiment a little. Unfortunately not the way I would have liked, because one day I saw her beautiful wallpaper covered with crayon scribbles and I thought, "OH NO!".
I took a photo and sent it to Roomblush asking if they could help me. They gave me some good tips, but unfortunately none that helped me get the crayon off the wallpaper. But they did ask if I was interested in using one of their new prints for another room.
YOU BET! I thought for a moment which room I would decorate, but as our daughter's room had just been wallpapered with the 'Pieces bright' wallpaper in summer, I didn't really have a second room in mind. Luckily, I do have a pregnant sister who needed help preparing the nursery. We chose the 'Faces Marsala' wallpaper, a bold print for a children's room but with a fun, bold colour palette. The lilac colour of the face lining creates a playful effect and we painted the walls in this trend colour too. The end result is great. We highly recommend this print for its artistic and playful lines and colour!
I’m sure that my sister's future daughter will be happy to sleep in her beautiful and cosy room.
